Young Swimmers

The much awaited and hyped event in Early Years was finally with us. …. The Swimming Gala!
The young learners in Braeburn Imani were super excited when they were dropped off in the morning and they were happy to see Mr sun coming out brightly. They started changing immediately into their swimming costumes and they were ready to go much sooner than expected, clearly showing how happy and excited they were that their BIG day was finally with them. We all headed to the swimming area promptly to start the Gala activities.
Crèche children proudly showcased their confidence in the paddling pool as they walked picking different objects. The Foundation Stage children confidently swam lengths in the big pool with noodle/kicking boards displaying their developing swimming skills. Sounds of cheering filtered in through the swimming area as children were motivated to do their best.
Children had so much fun and we were all delighted to see what their children were capable of doing in the pool. It was spectacular!
