Wendy House Movie Theatre

6th May 2022

As we often follow up on children’s interest in Early Years. They amaze us! The FS2 boys decided to revamp the Wendy house into a movie theatre. They wrote posters, decorated, made paper money and tickets. They shared roles amongst themselves, selling the tickets, collecting money and sharing the IPad as they searched for the trailer.

Their choice of movie ‘The Bad Guys' is a wolf, a piranha, a shark, a snake and a tarantula walk/slither/swim/crawl into a bar…

Watching a movie can often be something that many of us look forward to, it allows you to relax, disconnect and have a good time. It helps many of us to relax, decrease anxiety, inspire motivation and can even give you energy for real life!

Children learn social skills that include problem-solving, sharing, and sensitivity from watching movies. When exposed to seeing these new ideas and watching different cultural differences in film, it can help them make new friends.

Look out for the next special capture!
