We are Astronauts!

The Year 2s have been learning how to program on screen. We started out as playground astronauts and the children were able to give each other instructions (algorithms) to move from one point to the other.

Next, the children moved on to programming programmable toys where they had a chance to practice taking turns and moving in the clockwise and anticlockwise direction.

The children developed their collaborative skills as they had to work in a team to move the bee bots.

Now we are programming on screen and are working to develop our logical reasoning skills.

I found out that we have to give the bee bots instructions, where to move and which direction to go.
