Waterplay

31st October 2022

With the weather heating up, it’s the perfect time to get outside and explore! There’s nothing more fun than spending time filling, emptying and splashing in the water on a hot day!

Children develop their ideas and concepts when they explore using their senses, physical dexterity and creativity.Children learn through play and In Braeburn Imani we provide a rich environment to nurture them.

Water play as one of the fun-filled and educational activities provides a wide range of benefits for our children's social, emotional and physical abilities as well as early literacy and numeracy skills development .

In our EYFS setting, we intentionally set up activities such as water play to keep our children more engaged and support their learning process. Therefore, from the very young children who are developing their sense of understanding of the world to the older children who can use more skills such as numeracy in their play enjoy water play activities .
