The Magic of the Jungle Through a Child’s Eyes

24th May 2025

When children are exposed to jungle animals, whether through books, movies, role-playing, or real trips to wildlife parks, they are mostly captivated by their colour, sound and movement. Children are inspired to explore, ask why questions and form emotional bonds with nature because of their sense of wonder. Every animal, including elephants, snakes, tigers, and parrots, arouses a variety of inquiries and tales.

Children in FS1 investigated models of jungle animals, subitized and created sets by grouping and sorting them. They noted various patterns on the animals' bodies, such as tigers and zebras and discussed their similarities and differences. They interacted well with each other, shared their opinions and provided information based on their observations and findings.
