Every end of year, Braeburn Imani organises a themed inter-house Music, Art & Drama (MAD) competition. This year wasn’t any different as our secondary school students marshalled up in their houses in readiness to produce short creative films.
What is MAD really about?
Well, it isn’t just the rush of adrenaline to get the best raw film within limited time; it is about exerting the creative minds of our learners in music, art, and drama.
As a school, we are aware of the varied talents our students have, thus, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talents.
In a nutshell, during the MAD competition, students are expected to create a short film using their artistic talents of music, art, and drama. Their works are judged, and a winning house is presented with a shield, hoping to defend it next year.
Perfectly Imperfect
Think about it, isn’t life just perfectly imperfect? What sort of film can you make to capture this thoughtful theme?
This year’s theme of Perfectly Imperfect couldn’t have been any better. Our students loved it, engaged with it, and produced excellent films, again, in less than two days.
We are delighted to share with you that experience through the short films they produced, hopefully, you will learn something new pertaining to our theme Perfectly Imperfect.
Who won?
While watching, you be the judge; make a determination about the film that captured the theme nicely.
However, this year’s shield winners are students from Earth House. Well done to Earth House!!
Enjoy the films!
