So far, Term 3 has been busy and vibrant in the High school Food and Nutrition Lab. It has been great fun working with yeast to make tasty pizzas with the Year 10 F&N students and Wholemeal Bread Rolls with the Year 9.5 Learners. Nothing beats the wonderful aroma of baking bread on a cold morning served with Roasted Pumpkin soup with the right balance of flavours. It gets more exciting as the Learners make their own pizzas to reinforce the theory lesson on use of Herbs and Spices and the excitement of the final outcome of a soft and fluffy swiss roll, rolled to perfection. All made from scratch, the happy faces tell it all!
