Little Hands!

9th September 2022

Our little hands-on activities in Early Years are epic moments as children are physically engaged whilst they are learning. When the children are as mentally engaged, they are activating different parts of the brain. Therefore, strengthening their development processes, new realms of logic and problem solving that they can relate to in everyday life which leads to a stronger learning foundation.

In essence, this is the same type of learning that young children indulge in when they are playing. Playing is essentially 'active learning'. At Braeburn Imani children are interactive and hands-on with their environment, stimulating all of the senses, and allowing themselves to become fully immersed in their world.

Play is an extremely important part of the learning process because it increases the level of engagement in a child exponentially.
