Learning French in Braeburn Imani

At Braeburn Imani, French is one of the foreign languages offered in both primary and secondary.
Our French lessons are engaging and fun. We create online and blended learning environments where student’s creativity and innovation are brought out while celebrating their diversity.
In secondary, we offer French up to A levels where students, giving students opportunities to pursue career opportunities in French-speaking countries or organisations. Apart from ensuring that our students pass their examinations, we also make our lessons accessible to all students who want to add a foreign language to their language bank.

“I love French and I enjoy learning it through songs and skits. We always dance and model what we learn through actions making it fun and easier to remember. The amazing part is the speaking exams which are always tough but always gives us a chance to demonstrate what we have learnt in a dialogue ” ALISA Year 3

THE ANNUAL MFL MORNING
La matinée annuelle MFL a été une expérience amusante et excitante. Des collations étrangères aux différentes danses, ce fut une expérience enrichissante et très intéressante à regarder. En tant que directrice de la danse de notre école Braeburn Imani, j'étais ravie d'avoir la chance d'aider et de l'organiser. - Par Abby
Lors de la matinée linguistique annuelle Mfl, nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés et ce fut le voyage le plus spectaculaire ! La juge a été ravie de notre présentation et a déclaré : « Cette Présentation restera à jamais gravée dans ma mémoire car elle a été bien faite avec des accessoires vibrants, des gestes étonnants et une excellente articulation de la langue française’’ J'ai été très touché par cela et nous nous sommes sentis fiers. Ma partie préférée du voyage était le petit déjeuner français - c'était délicieux. Dans l'ensemble, je suis extrêmement heureux. Merci! - Par Aisha F.
