Inspiring Curiosity in Early Childhood

1st March 2025

Have you ever wondered what the largest flower is or who built the tallest tower or why it's called the Eiffel Tower, or how to create your favorite cartoon characters?

These are just some of the curious thoughts swirling around in the minds of our FS2 children!

FS2 class at Braeside Thika adventures began with a jungle expedition in search of the Rafflesia arnoldii. Although we didn’t find the real flower, we discovered something similar, which sparked our creativity! Inspired by our findings, we decided to draw our very own Rafflesia arnoldii (the largest flower in the world!)

Next, we took on the challenge of constructing our own "Eiffel Towers" using different materials like polydrons and even spaghetti sticks! It was an exciting experience watching our towers rise higher and higher. Some wobbled and fell, but we kept rebuilding, determined to make them as tall as possible.

As for our favorite cartoon characters, we explored different ways to bring them to life through colorful paper crafts and expressive drawings. It was amazing to see our creativity take shape!

Curiosity leads FS2 children to always be eager to explore the world around them!
