Inquisitive learners in FS1

10th November 2021

Each day in FS1 is a new adventure of learning new things. Have you ever wondered why young children are always active? Well, it is because they are great explorers, experimenters, and imitators. Children come to school full of energy and eager to learn new things. They get to explore with different resources and apparatus, especially the Wendy house. Children play pretend mums in the kitchen, waiters/waitresses in a restaurant etc.

They use natural resources to make their pretend meals e.g. sand for the porridge, green leaves for the spinach and colourful flowers for decorating their sand cakes. (pretend sprinkles).

Some children demonstrate a good act of kindness by helping others e.g. a groundsman load the wheelbarrow with dry leaves. This symbolises a good understanding of why we need to live in a clean environment. Isn't It amazing to see young children come up with their own good act of kindness? (Helping others
