How Exciting is Rollerblading at BIIS?

17th January 2022

Co-curricular activities play an important role in defining Braeburn Imani. As a school, we’re constantly aware of the growing need for more clubs and societies to involve our students.

Rollerblading has been one of the most active clubs for primary school pupils. Without a doubt, it is a club that has attracted a lot of excitement in the school.

This term, the club started on a high note with many learners showing interest in joining the club. The students were eager to showcase their talents as we started the new term.

Our approach

Just as it is with in-class studies, rollerblading addresses individual needs of pupils, owing to their differences in skills. We welcome both beginners and advanced skaters to the club.

This term has been an extension of a number of activities that started last term. Pupils who were initially in the club last term moved a skill higher with new pupils readily getting started with the basics.

We appreciate how closely the parents have been involved in this club by providing the essentials that students need

our aim

We’re aiming to build a skating team that will participate in competitive skating tournaments. This is embedded in our school’s vision of “Enjoying Success” in various fields. We’re confident that we will excel in competitive tournaments. It will also boost our pupil’s talents further and explore this sporting activity in future.
