Early Years Love Your Bike Day

The sun is shining; children are dressed up in their riding clothes. Everyone has their bike and helmet ready. Off we go zooming onto the enclosed parking space where we shall spend our morning. There is already a bike fundi waiting to fix any spoiled bikes; a bike decorating stop and a quiet area to rest. Zoom we go onto the track laid out, some on tykes and others on bikes. So much space to ride and bumps here and there. The teachers remind us to slow down at corners and inclined areas. After our snack, the bike wash area is open. Wow! Children sponge their bikes squeaky clean. After a great morning of riding fun, we head to our classes to rest and for some yummy lunch.
