Early Years Collaborative Learning

25th March 2022

Children come up with new approaches and ideas that promote their imagination and concentration. With an enabling environment and the right resources, they come up with their own creations that reflect either what they learn in class or what happens in the world around them.

This week the EYFS children have shown amazing creative ideas as they collaboratively work in both indoor and outdoor learning areas during free flow.

‘’We are building a monkey trap, the monkeys will jump in the trap and sleep here. We will put bananas in because that’s their favourite food and they will also shower in the bathroom’’ This was their answer as they excitedly talked about their project. The highlight was when a monkey came and picked a banana peel that they had put inside the trap. Others decided to decorate the Wendy house by colouring it in patterns.
