Dynamic learning

In FS1 at Braeside Thika we believe in fostering an enriched learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and engage in hands-on activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity. Children in FS1 were excited to the fascinating world of magnetic resources, where they came up with brilliant ideas on what to make with them and making learning become an adventure filled with wonder and excitement.

They used several magnetic resources and made shapes such as a circle, crown, necklaces and bracelets. Magnetic resources offer a unique opportunity for children to interact with science in a captivating way and exploring different forces. Magnetic resources foster language development in children, problem solving, and stimulate sensory exploration as children use multiple senses. Allowing them to experience the sensation of attraction and repulsion firsthand, develops children’s creativity which supports them to embark on a journey of discovery that sparks their passion for learning.
