BTEC Year 10, 12 and 13 Business

BTEC Year 10, 12 and 13 Business students today visited the Del Monte factory in Thika. A fantastic visit to the most important industry in Thika, employing over 7,000 people. We learnt about the production process of growing and harvesting the pineapples through to industrial peeling, juicing and canning of our favourite local fruit in addition to learning about human resources, ethics and marketing as well as the production process. A memorable day!
